Nicki Minaj would love to work with One Direction

Nicki Minaj would love to work with One Direction as she thinks they’re “cute”.

The hit boyband are now a four piece after member Zayn Malik left to be a “normal 22-year-old” in March, but are already busy working on new music.

And the guys – Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson – have caught the eye of rap sensation Nicki, who is keen to team up with them for some catchy tunes.

‘I do want to work with One Direction,” she told British newspaper The Sun.

‘I mean, of course, who wouldn’t? They’re cute!’

The quartet would most likely accept the offer as they previously gushing about Nicki’s work, as well as her pert derriere, when they admitted they wouldn’t be able to beat her at a ‘twerk off’ last year.

The 32-year-old beauty is currently riding a high after winning accolades at the BET Awards on Sunday night including Best Female Hip-Hop Artist. She’s setting her sights high for the future and would love to perform at British festival Glastonbury, following in the footsteps of previous acts such as Jay Z and Kanye West, who headlined on Saturday night.

‘That would be a huge achievement for me. So I’m just waiting for the offer! And I can already do the British accent,” she smiled.

Despite her success, Nicki hasn’t forgotten those who have always been there for her. She brought her mother Carol to the music ceremony at the weekend as her plus one and even got her up on stage while accepting a gong. And it was obvious where Nicki gets her looks from as her mum looked more like her sister as they stood next to each other in front of the crowds in Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theatre.
